The Heart of Country Music
Johnny,
Irish born, now resides in the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire,
England, with his wife and two daughters.
Johnny is
a very talented artiste, being gifted with a beautiful voice, he
has a large following of fans wherever he goes here in England
and overseas. Johnny has appeared on several occasions at
the Floralia festival in Holland, and often his fans from
Holland make the trip to see his performances within the United
Kingdom where Johnny performs in theatres, at festivals,
concerts, dances and churches but to name a few.
Over the
years Johnny's music has been influenced by such artists as Gene
Watson, Merle Haggard, Hank Snow, Ernest Tub, Buck Owens and
many more.
Johnny
has worked hard to achieve his present status within the country
music business and his revision of the Hank Snow number
"Merry-Go-Round" you could say is Johnny's trade-mark.
Country
music has always played a major part in Johnny's life from a
very early age and this is why each song is sung so sincerely
from the heart. Johnny has made many recordings over the years, some of these
recordings being Johnny's
own self penned songs and, he strives to fulfill his life long
dream of becoming an household name.
